Tony worked as a full time GP in a town centre practice for 25 years and was also involved in commissioning health services. He now does locum sessions, works in A&E and sits on Tribunals for the Ministry of Justice. Tony is interested in the wider determinants of health.
Since retirement as head teacher of a successful Warrington primary school, Eileen set up and developed the Older People’s Engagement Group (OPEG) in Warrington, a well-respected umbrella organisation – a voice for older people in Warrington. As Chair of OPEG, Eileen represents Warrington on Future North West, the regional forum for older people. She also co-chairs Warrington’s Older People’s Partnership Board and is a director and vice chair of Warrington’ Healthwatch. Eileen is also a director of Culture Warrington Trust and has a passion and interest in developing arts, culture and lifelong learning activities for older people.
Terry is now retired but formerly held senior management positions at board level in manufacturing and engineering. His main interests are to be involved in and watching sports.
Bernard has an engineering background which saw him living in both South Africa and Spain before returning to the UK. Bernard is also a volunteer within LifeTime and enjoys photography, aero modelling and golf in his spare time.
Arthur is a retired manager and during the past 8 years has learned a great deal of the needs and requirements of older people. Arthur is a member of the Older People’s Forum, Older People’s Engagement Group and Patients Participation Group for a local GP Surgery. He is also vice Chair of Stronger Together East Area Board and for 30 years was on Woolston Parish Council, 2 years as Chair.
