Covid Update- 9th December 2021

As everyone will no doubt be aware,  last night (8th December) The government has announced that England will move to Plan B in response to the risks of the Omicron variant.

It is our intention is to continue to run services from Lifetime in a covid compliant way, but we are conscious of the vulnerability of some of our members so will review our position linked to individual events and customer expectations

From Friday 10 December the public, and staff in public facing areas, are required to wear face coverings in the LifeTime centre and at all our community venues:

We are aware there are some circumstances where people may not be able to wear a face covering and we ask you  be mindful and respectful of such circumstances. Some people are less able to wear face coverings, and the reasons for this may not be visible to others.

This includes:

  • people who cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability
  • people for whom putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause severe distress
  • people speaking to or providing assistance to someone who relies on lip reading, clear sound or facial expressions to communicate

This temporary measure will help to maintain our Covid Safe standards for our members.

Please be aware that we may be subject to further Government restrictions and we will continue to keep you updated.

Your help in this matter at this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
