  • Ongoing support within a friendly team of staff and volunteers
  • Regular virtual volunteer meetings
  • All out of pocket expenses are reimbursed

Margaret Whitley has been a volunteer since the doors opened in August 2013.

Margaret is a keen bake, she regularly bakes to support with many our fundraising events, Margaret also, supports the team delivering sessions in the centre, administration along with meeting & greeting new members.

Margaret says “The volunteer team is a very friendly group and we pull together to make LifeTime a happy place where the over 50’s meet and enjoy themselves.  I am fortunate to have a very supportive husband and family, which enables me to give something back to the community. As a retired person, being a volunteer gives me a sense of purpose and it’s a worthwhile experience which I would recommend to any retiree”

Margaret’s husband, Bernard, is also a valued volunteer at LifeTime supporting with the The Camera Club and the day to day running of the Centre.

If you are interested in becoming a LifeTime volunteer, we always have room for more and can find the perfect role for you, then give us a call on 01925 246824 or email us on mail@lifetimegateway.org.uk .
