A 2020 CALENDAR that showcases Warrington has been created by our Winmarleigh Photographic Society.

The camera club, based at LifeTime in the Gateway on Sankey Street, have been busy putting together the calendar, with photos that have been taken by members of the social group throughout the year.

Images in the calendar include the peace sculpture that was installed in town centre to commemorate 25 years since the Warrington bombings, the Golden Gates, Walton Moorings, Fiddlers Ferry, Warrington Walking Day and much more.

LifeTime officer Andrea Rees said: “It has been fantastic to see the calendar come together with some lovely photos of iconic scenes in Warrington. The camera club has worked really hard on it and proceeds will go towards sustaining LifeTime groups.

“The camera club is a very friendly group – so please pop in if you are interested in joining in with it or with any of our other activities – and you can grab a calendar while you are there, it would make a great stocking filler for Christmas.”

The LifeTime centre is open Monday to Friday and holds more than 50 activities a week including a choir, aerobics, activities for people living with dementia, writers’ group, camera club, quiz, crafts, or just casual drop-ins and information, a computer suite and a café.

The calendar will be available to buy at LifeTime for £3 or two for £5 and for more information on activities at LifeTime go to www.lifetimegateway.org.uk call 01925 246 824 or pop in to LifeTime, the Gateway, 101 Sankey Street, Warrington, Cheshire WA1 1SR
